International Cell Phone

I live in the States and will be in Austria, Poland and Slovenia in May. I want to rent an international cell phone. Any pointers on the best deals and most reliable service? I probably will use it to talk to US as well as may make some calls in Europe.

for Austria alone, I bought a cheap handy (Euro 30.00) with 6 Euro loaded in already, and which I could reload at any Post Office. This one works only in Austria, but I%26#39;m sure you could find one for all three countries, without having to pay huge roaming charges. My calls to Canada cost me 10 cents (Euro cents) per minute.
