Week trip taking in Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck

Hi,

Myself and my wife are planning a week or so trip to these detinations in Sept (we have friends in Innsbruck) How long should we spend in each stop?

Any ideas of itineraries or hotels,sights etc. or any general advice would be greatly appreciated!! We are going to hire a car also.

I%26#39;d spend 2 days in Salzburg, 1 day in the beautiful Salzkammergut area close to Salzburg CIty with its gorgeous lakes and mountains and finally 1 (full) day in Innsbruck. Munich would deserve at least 2 days in my opinion.
