Staying at Bockmoar winery near Wildon

Hi,

We%26#39;re thinking of staying at Bockmoar winery (http://www.bockmoar.at/index.php?id=38) near Wildon, south of Graz. It looks lovely, but we are a bit concerned that it might get a fair amount of Autobahn noise - from the map, it looks like it%26#39;s only about 300m from it.

Has anyone been here, perhaps to eat at their Buschenschank or taste wine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! We want to be within easy reach of Graz and Stainz.

The topography tool of GOOGLE Earth says that there is a height difference of 75m what should prevent you from any disturbance. This premises really looks great, I%26#39;d stay there without any hesitation. I suppose you will have a car what makes it easy to reach Graz (via the Autobahn you fear).

Thanks Mikey, I didn%26#39;t even think about the change in elevation! It%26#39;s just the trucks going up and down all night that we were worried about.

It does look nice, doesn%26#39;t it? If we stay there, I%26#39;ll post a review!

Hi!

I%26#39;ve once been to Bockmoar - very nice Buschenschank and good wine - Styria is famous for the white wine (Welschriesling, Sauvignon blanc, Gelber Muskateller...) Most winemakers already have the vintage of 2008 - very good year (I already tasted ;-).
