Skiing from Zurs to Lech

I see how one can ski from Lech to Zurs, but what is the route (which lifts) to ski from Zurs to Lech? Also, what is the difference between a %26quot;ski route%26quot; and a %26quot;ski run?%26quot; Is a %26quot;ski route%26quot; ungroomed or unmarked?

This complete route is known as The White Ring and is very easy to follow.

If you go to the Lech website-

www.lech.at

then click on ski snd snowboard you find a heading White Ring.

This offers complete directions distances etc.

In Zurs you can take either the Seekopfbahn or Zurserseebahn back up towards the madlochbahn.

I find the Seekopfbahn more convenient as you come into Zurs.

Then to the madlochbahn to the top - skiing down ( Madloch- Zug) toward the little village of Zug.

Then Zugerbahn up to the top - skiing down toward Oberlaech and then down to Lech.

Well signed - easily done.

This route is groomed- sometimes that going down to Zug gets a little worn but generlly very good conditions and not extra hard skiing.

many stop at Zug for a little to eat or drink.

Ski route and lift maps are readily available at lift and ticket stations - carrsy one with you. Any dobt compare map at one of the direction posts.

Perhaps you know ski run where here identification may be route ( many with numbers to identify )

Ungroomed unmarked = off piste.

Note :warnings regarding off piste or ungroomed skiing , evey year people ignore this and find themselves in dangerous territory or in or make an avalanche.

A great place to enjoy good skiing and surroundings.

They also limit ticket sales to insure comfortable skiing and little wait times for lifts.
