salzburg to St wolfgang to Hallstatt

Is it possible to explore St Wolfgang %26amp; stay 1 night in Hallstatt from Salzburg? I only have 2-3 days.

And how do I go about doing it? Please help!

Yes, it is possible - it would be also possible as a one day trip if you rent a car.

If you want to stay overnight I would choose St. Wolfgang or St. Gilgen.
