restaurants in Kaprun

Hi there

We are planning a week%26#39;s skiing in Kaprun in March and are looking at b%26amp;b-only pension-style accommodation as opposed to half board hotel options. We have read lots of reviews describing Kaprun%26#39;s apres-ski as quiet which we%26#39;re not worried about but are wondering what the restaurant options are, in terms of variety and quality, for evening meals in the village.

Thanks

Al

There%26#39;s plenty of variety and none that we wouldn%26#39;t return to. Hilbergers is very traditional and a bit special, but not too pricy. Kitsch %26amp; Bitter is smart and very good. The restaurant at the Baum Bar is good value, as is Zuchinnis. The latter is sort of tex-mex, but also does local dishes. There are several good pizza restaurants, including Casa Bella. Many of the hotels have restaurants that non-residents can use. We particularly like the Hotel Mitteregger.

Thanks for those tips, we%26#39;re there for a week so we%26#39;ll give them all a go!
