As a possibility of Igls being m next destination next year for Skiing with Inghams, can anyone tell me what the snow record is like there please.
Is it a sure thing for snow in Mid January ?
The area look very attractive, with other things to do.

The current snow report can be accessed here:

The Patscherkofel Mountain, whose peak ist at 2.250m above sea level, shouldn%26#39;t be a problem at all. In Igls itself, which is down in the valley, the snow depth could be weak. The area is indeed attractive offering a lot of other leisure activities.

Thanks Mickey for getting back.
I%26#39;m concidering Igls as it%26#39;s seems a relivitally short trip from airport.
As I%26#39;m going alone I also thought there would be other things to do.

Have you considered Seefeld very short transfer also approx 25 mins and I think the snow record is better as the town is higher.

Hi TORII
Really liked Seefeld, especially when the wife comes as a non Skiier. Quick transfer which I like.
Can get short of snow on the nursery slopes, but always had plenty on slopes.
There use to be a lovely shop where they did the best hot chocolate, but unfortuantly it has gone.
This year I went to Lapland again, brill.
I do like Austria, very scenic.
Deffinantly no problems with snow in Lapland.
