I%26#39;m planning a trip to Vienna, but i%26#39;m a student on a budget. Can anyone please advise me on some cheap B%26amp;B%26#39;s or small hotels, preferably in the centre? Thanks

you haven%26#39;t said what your budget is but we stayed at pension madara which over the christmas period and early january was about 50 euro per night which is really cheap we thought. it%26#39;s not right in the centre but about 15 mins from centre on #43 tram, whihc stops right outside the place. might be wroth checking it out if accommodation in city is expensive. trams ran late at night too so getting home was never an issue, there were also bakeries and some restaurants nearby at really reasonable prices.

Hotel Post has single rooms with shower/toilet in the corridor for 40-48 euros. The location can%26#39;t be better.

There are some student houses in Vienna which become kind of hotels during summer time when the students have their vacation.
Some are in good locations and really cheap - like the one in the Pfeilgasse (really in the city center):
Single room 25 Euros
Twin: 42 Euros
Prices are per room and include breakfast!
