Vienna Airport to Hilton Vienna Danube

Please could someone advise how to get to Hilton Vienna Danube from Vienna Airport. We arrive next Sunday. Like to go by train or bus if possible.

Take a city-bound train and alight at Wien-Praterstern, where you need to transfer to subway line U2 (purple one) towards %26#39;Stadion%26#39; (=Vienna Stadium). Get off at Stadion and walk the rest (approx. 400m).

John(?) - instead of 2 x €1.70 tickets (making the €3.40 fare Mikey mentions) consider getting some sort of travel pass at the airport and one €1.70 extra ticket (to cover the part outside the city) for the journey to the hotel. It is not centrally situated so you%26#39;ll need to use public transport regularly to get to any of the sights so a period pass could save you money. Look here for the options:
