I%26#39;m traveling with 4 elderlies (in their 60s)going to Belvedere in April,we%26#39;ll be staying at Do%26amp;Co Hotel.i guess taking tram might be the best option since it stops right in front of the palace (pls correct me if i%26#39;m wrong) but like to have professional opinion if the tram has much exposure to the outside.my relatives fear so much for windy and cold weather,it%26#39;d be better if the tram slowly moves and is well covered so they can keep themselves warm. One more thing, where is the nearest tram station from my hotel?i couldn%26#39;t seem to find any tram map..
Thank you so much for enlighting me!

This is a very easy trip-
simply take the Ubahn Line U-1 found just underneath your hotel-- (It is named Stephansplatz) --1 stop in the direction of Reumannplatz to stop Oper / Karlsplatz -
go to the surface - this is the Ringstrasse and you will find the streetcar D - take this in the direction of Sudbahnhof- to the Belvedere Palace- The D takes you to a point just across the street from the Palace- The streetcar is fully enclosed- regardless of weather you are well protected- no exposure to the outside-
The older models have 2- 3 steps to reach the passenger compartment - the newer ones are almost at ground level
travel time 12- 15 minutes
