has anyone stayed in this hotel on a ski holiday ? and what was your opinion.

I have not stayed there personally but found this review:

Well this may not be a lot of help, however ....! A friend and I stayed at the Marliesenhof two years running, admittedly back in the early 90s! Marlies still owns the hotel though and I believe it is even better now than it was then. On the first occasion we actually got moved there because we were the only ones due to stay at the hotel we%26#39;d actually booked, however the Marliesenhof was really lovely - the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the food I remember to be very good (but no choice I don%26#39;t think). For a small, friendly 3* hotel I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;d go far wrong and I%26#39;d be very happy to stay there again. I have some very fond memories of the hotel.
The only drawback was that it was quite a walk to the slopes, however I believe there is a ski bus stop closeby now which would make a big difference! If you go, or have been already, I would be interested to know what you thought?!

Handy ski bus right outside or the owner gives you a lift !! so friendly and that makes your holiday.... fond memories too, very cosy and welcoming.. in fact didnt want to come back as ski conditions amazing with the fresh powder !!
