I am looking for a clean hotel that would cost around 100 euro (end of August) in good location.
My other requirements are: breakfast should be included and we need a room that would allow three people to stay in.
Thank you very much for your help.

thank you very much for your response. I did search the forum but whatever I was finding either would not allow 3 people in one room, would be a hostel or too expensive. Anyway, thank you for responding.

Check out Pension Aviano - meets your requirements and the front desk is both responsive and helpful.

Caviargal, have you stayed there? What do you think of it? Is it clean, quiet? Can you walk to the sights?
It%26#39;s on my short list. I am having trouble finding a %26quot;good deal%26quot; for Vienna in Oct.

I stayed at Pension Aviano in January- in a single room. I had a wonderful stay there and the front desk staff were welcoming and very helpful. The only time I used public transport during the 5 day stay was to go to Melk/ Krems for a day trip and the the Schonnbrun Palace( pardon any spelling mistakes).
The rest of the time I walked. The longest walk was about a 30 minute walk to the Belvedere Palace- I enjoy people and sight watching as I walk to and fro. Everything else in the inner zone was walkable. The metro line stations are close by- less than 5 min stoll to 2 different stations. plenty of choices for restaurants in many price ranges in the evening all within strolling distance. The State Opera House was less than 5 mins.
This made it an ideal base for me as while I will use public transport I love to walk if possibe. Lots of lovely streets to wander through as well.

While the Aviano is a good and well located place- it does not meet your criteria regarding price end of august- published rates 126 euro for a double plus 25 euro for a 3rd bed.
Perhaps you may find a slightly better rate on one of the hotel booking entities but as you already know, this is in the busy season for tourists and rates can be high.
Pension Kraml - is a nice pension within walking distance of many things and within your prices for a triple or family apartment.Breakfast included.
website - I think from memory
www.pensionkraml.at
But I would look to the recent posting here regarding Holiday apartments- This is often a very price effective way to have good accomodations.
A number of possible sites mentioned in this posting.
Roley is a frequent poster here with good judgment in my opinion.
The apartment idea is usually very cost effective and convenient for families.

I have stayed several times at the Hotel Post. It is well situated, only a 5 minute walk to Stephansplatz, or the Schwedenplatz U Bahn Station. It is a little bit dated, but they show triple room w/o bath for 87 - 103 Euro. The shared bathrooms have never been an issue for me,very private and uncrowded, as they have mostly rooms with bath. The property is quiet (rooms mostly have no view), service not pushy but attentive, and the included (Continental)Breakfast Buffet is consistently good and hearty. You are also staying within a historical building. Look at:

and see what you think. If you have any questions of me, feel free to ask.

We actually had booked there but changed to Marriott at last minute as we got a cheaper price on three rooms. We walked by the pension and it was well located. It was recommended by friends who stayed there and whose opinion I trust very much as they have very high standards.
