Hello,
I am going to be in Munich from 6th of April to the 14th of April. I will be staying in a hotel situated in Bogenhausen. I am wondering what is the best way to get from the airport to Bogenhausen, and how long will that take?
Thank you everyone for the previous info about travelling from Munich to Salzburg, it is going to help me. I will no doubt be seeing Mozart%26#39;s house and the sound of music mansion...however, I am wondering if there are anything I must see or do in Salzburg?
Many thanks!

I suggest you post the question about transport from Munich Airport to Bogenhausen in the Munich forum. To get from the airport to the city centre it%26#39;s about 45-60 min by suburbian train. Maybe also post the name of the place you are staying at so that we know if it is easy accessible by public transit.
For Salzburg, the Mozarthaus is a must and I would also suggest to go visit the fortress.

It is a museum or you can just walk up for some beautiful views onto the city.
If you have time for coffee and cake, I would go to the Hotel Sacher which is one of the high-end places in Salzburg - a hotel full of tradition and the makers of the real %26quot;Sacher Torte%26quot; - a special type of chocolate cake. You also get Sacher torte in other cafes, but only the Sacher Hotel (and its sister property in Vienna) make the %26quot;real%26quot; one - it%26#39;s a secretive recipe and it is VERY delicious.
