Austria to Prague

Which is the best and cheapest way to travel from Austria to Prague and back? I have searched for flights and trains but all are expensive. If you have any site or info pls reply. Thanks

Flying will certainly be more expensive, and will take longer centre to centre, plus check-in times, etc.

I would train it.

The regular rail fare would be 49€. But the wise traveler books well in advance in order to get one of the 29€ tickets which are subject to restrictions (limited availability, non-refundable, non-alterable).

Thanks for your feedback. But changed plans and going the other way round : Malta - Prague - Vienna - Malta
