Second thoughts about the hotel I booked

Hi everyone,

I am planning a trip to Europe for my boss, his wife and their 20 year old son, and the trip includes a stay in Vienna on March 13th and 14th. I currently have them booked to stay at the Hotel Altstadt in the Bösendorfer Suite. I chose this hotel because their preference is always for a smaller, quirky, artsy boutique hotel, and the suite looks particularly nice online: www.altstadt.at/bilder/suiten/index.html

I%26#39;m having second thoughts though, based on some of the customer reviews which say that the hotel is not as nice as it looks online, and that the location isn%26#39;t very convenient.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other hotels that I should look into? Cost is not a concern. My boss and his wife are very young at heart, they appreciate quality, but aren%26#39;t stuffy.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, or feedback about the Altstadt.

Look at this one a small boutique hotel in the very center of Vienna

Beppo%26#39;s suggestion is very good. You could also look at Das Tyrol:

But Altstadt%26#39;s reviews are mainly very positive so don%26#39;t be put off by the odd person who didn%26#39;t care for it. And its location is fine - a 10 - 15 minute walk to the Ringstrasse or you could take public transport to the very centre of the old town. The hotel is very near the lovely Spittelberg area and is handy for many good restaurants.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions. I decided to keep the booking at the Altstadt and my boss just called from Vienna to tell me how much they love it.

Thanks again!

I%26#39;m glad they like it - perhaps you could persuade them to post a review!
