Opinions on Panorama Tours?

Hello! I%26#39;m planning to come to Salzburg for 5 days in early June. I would like for opinions for any of you have who have been on Panorama tours.

Specifically, I%26#39;m interested in these Panorama day tours:

-Original Sound of Music tour.

-Bavarian Mountain sightseeing tour

-Tour to Hallstatt

-Werfen Ice Caves tour

How is it? Is the service good, and do you get to see the things as promised in their website? Or are there any better quality or value-for-money alternatives that you know of? We don%26#39;t have a car so we have to rely on day tours to get out of Salzburg.

Some of the sites mentioned could be toured on your own if you don%26#39;t mind taking trains and/or buses in conjunction with a little walking. I would prefer being my own guide, but a tour can save you a lot of time. On the other side you risk to see too less if you join a guided tour as they follow a tight schedule.

Hi, we went on the %26#39;Original Sound of Music Tour%26#39; with Panorama tours a couple of years ago and found it very enjoyable. It was very well organized and our guide (can%26#39;t remember his name) was very knowledgable and a great laugh. If their other tours are run as well as The Sound of Music tour then you will have no problems. Hope you enjoy your holiday in Salzburg.

You might want to also check out Bob%26#39;s Special Tours, they offer the same tours as Panorama, but they are a much smaller company and abit more persoanl as you travel in a van rather than the large tour buses.
